🌳 What is a wood chip?
Platelets are shredded wood chips mechanically from pieces of logs or shells that cannot be used in carpentry. At the VUITTON Scierie, they are mostly produced from oak, beech and Ash, three noble and local essences.
They are broken into calibrated pieces, dry or slightly damp depending on the uses, then stored in the open air or in a shed, in bulk or packaged.
