To the VUITTON Sawmill, each stage of our production chain is designed to guarantee wood processing at the same time efficient, respectful and highly qualitative. From the arrival of the logs to the delivery of the sawn products, we rely on a modern and constantly evolving industrial tool to meet the expectations of the most demanding professionals, in France and internationally.

Our production site was designed for Value each cubic meter of wood, by combining tech, knowhow and quality requirement. Each step is controlled to guarantee:

An overview of our services and production stages

🌳 1. Log yard

Freshly purchased logs are received, identified and stored in our Log yard. Each lot is carefully sorted according to species (oak, beech, ash, etc.), length, diameter and visual quality.
➡️ Objective: prepare a sawmill flow adapted to customer demand.

🔁 2. Debarking

Before sawing, the logs pass through a Bark skidder. The bark is removed to make it easier to cut, protect the blades, and improve flow accuracy.

3. Sawing

The core of our business. We use high-performance head saws (including band and circular saws) to cut logs according to defined programs.
➡️ We also make Studs, Carlets, beams, Envivés, that landscape crosspieces, always according to the specifications requested.

✂️ 4. Cross-cutting

The sawn woods are then cut to length, either according to standard lengths, or at List speed, to adapt to the technical constraints of our customers.

📏 5. Delineation

✒️ 6. Tracing

7. Stacking

The woods are stacked with dividers, to ensure optimal ventilation and avoid deformations. Stacking can be done manually or semi-automatically depending on the batches.

We have several storage areas, in a shed or on the park, depending on the destination of the product (wiping, drying, shipping).
