At the heart of the VUITTON Sawmill, each collaborator plays a key role in the processing of wood, from the raw log to the finished piece ready to be shipped. Here is an overview of the jobs that make our Jura sawmill live, with respect for the material and with the quality requirements that characterize us.

Morgan Vuitton — CEO

As a leader, Morgan ensures the strategic vision of the company, the global organization, as well as customer and partner relationships. He manages the sawmill with rigor and passion, taking care to preserve the family identity while developing new markets.

Olivier Vuitton — Co-manager, Procurement & Log Trading Manager

Olivier is in charge of the supply of raw wood. He selects the logs directly from the forest and negotiates their purchase. His expert eye guarantees the arrival of quality wood, adapted to the needs of our French and international customers.

Alice Brulebois — Export Manager

Alice manages international sales. It is the link between the sawmill and our foreign customers, ensuring personalized follow-up, the preparation of export documents and logistical coordination.

Sébastien Camelin — Operator, filing cabinet & squares

Sébastien sorts, classifies and selects sawn wood according to their quality, color and destination. It identifies the parts that will be intended for layout, carpentry or turning, ensuring constant consistency.

Edouard Pierre Clément — Operator, filing cabinet with boards & squares

Édouard reinforces the team responsible for sorting and preparing finished products. He ensures that each room corresponds perfectly to the expected standards, in terms of appearance, dimensions and humidity.

Yannick Ficher — Operator, mismatched workbook

Yannick is a specialist in mismatched woods. It sorts boards that do not come from the same log but that, once selected, offer sufficient homogeneity for quality projects.

Franck Gering — Head Sawler

Franck is in charge of the initial sawing of the log. It transforms trunks into blocks, beams or boards with precision, according to defined specifications. His work is crucial for the performance and valorization of each log.

Jessie Morel — Sawmill Worker, Log Yard, Debarker & Forklift Operator

Boris is responsible for the manufacture of technical products such as frames, landscape crosspieces or specific studs. It controls the flow rate on the list and adapts the sawing according to the most demanding requests.
